Our Team
Dr. Adam and Barbra Curtis - Owners
Dr. Adam Curtis got his start in the dental field following graduation from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2006. Then in 2015, Dr. Curtis made the decision to purchase Cambridge Family Dental and Minnesota Implant and Sedation Dental. Since then, Dr. Curtis has lead his teams and practices through exponential growth, all while maintaining a small town atmosphere.
Currently, Dr. Curtis owns seven thriving dental practices, Dental Business Solutions, and an up and coming dental lab. Between all nine of his businesses,
he employs over 80 workers and in the past 11 years, he has mentored 12 dentists, most of whom were brought on directly out of dental school. Dr. Curtis leads by example of how to obtain and maintain a successful work/life balance and how to make coming to work enjoyable by seeing the best in all situations and, of course, telling a few dad jokes here and there.
Dr. Curtis has a passion for helping young doctors understand what it means to be a business owner, as well as a dentist that can give their patients the best possible care that is available through compassion, professionalism, and integrity.
Barbra Curtis, RDH has been the Chief Executive Officer of the nine
Curtis-owned businesses since 2015 and has been a registered hygienist for
18 years. She is the backbone of the behind-the-scenes work and is often referred to as “the person who keeps the lights on and the paychecks paid.”
Her experience with business management is unmatched, and her knowledge of the day-to-day processes that result in long-term success are an asset to the Curtis-owned businesses.
Barbra has a passion for helping others excel in their jobs and understands that individualized motivation is the key to helping her teams succeed. She enjoys traveling to the clinics to lead office trainings, connecting with her teams on a personal and professional level, and meeting with the office managers to help them interpret and understand their office statistics to create measurable and obtainable goals.
Barbra’s wealth of knowledge in business management and clinical work makes her an asset to the Curtis-owned businesses, and she is excited to share her passion with other owners to help them succeed.
